Mrs. Mason and I are very excited about this year! We have jumped in with both feet. We continue to look forward to working with all 35 of these wonderful students of yours! Also, we would like to say "Hello and Welcome" to Mrs. Dixon's supply teacher,Mr. Alan Aumann! Mr. Aumann started in our class on Monday, when Mrs. Dixon went out to have her baby boy. We're sure Mr. Aumann will be a great asset to our class as well. If you happen to see him in the classroom or around the school, please introduce yourself and welcome him to our school.
A much awaited "Welcome" also goes to Carter James Dixon. This is Mrs. Dixon's newest edition. He was born on Tuesday, 4/21/09 at 9:11 a.m. He weighed in at 8 lbs. and 7 oz. He is 20 in. long. Please, please, please return your registration cards for next year if you haven't already done so! Your child will not be placed on a class list until we have your registration card. If you know your child will not be returning, please let us know that too.

1) Students will write their homework daily in their agendas. Please be sure you see the agenda, the homework and you initial the agenda. Also, in addition this year, we have a communication log that will also need to be signed.
2) Students will generally have 20 minutes of reading, some math and occassionally a spelling contract to complete. Please make sure that students are having their contract and reading logs signed daily.
3) Students will have to complete his/her homework during recess, if they do not complete it and turn it in on the day that it is due.
