This week....
We are busy working on our Guided Reading and have also been working on reviewing phonics skills and Sitton Spelling. Please remind your child they are to read for at least 20 minutes every night. This is a part of their homework.
Progress Reports went home for everyone. From now on, they will only go home for the students in need. I will send an "Academic Alert" for any student who falls below an acceptable grade average.
Library books should be brought back everyday. We are beginning to take out AR tests and they need their books in order to do so.
Permission Slips for our FIELD TRIP are due on October 5th. I will send a second notice home soon in case anyone has misplaced it. Our field trip is Friday Oct 12th to Cagel's Dairy. :) If you are interested in volunteering to chaperon, just meet us there with your $7.00 for admission!
