Here is our weekly newsletter. I have also sent home a copy with your child and it via remind.

Hello Parents:
Tomorrow 10/3/17, there will be a paper that is going home for you to pick a conference day/time to discuss your child's academic and behavioral progress. Please send this back as soon as possible to enable me to get you the time/day that you prefer. At the conference we will discuss your child's strengths and weakness, their report card grades, and how we can help your child together. Thank you for all that you do!

Please check your child's Sweet Success Notebook. It contains some assessments that I gave as a check-in. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Fall Break

Going home today is optional reading, writing, and math homework. I have given the students the incentive of a small surprise should he/she decide to complete it. It is due the Monday we come back.

Check your child's sweet success notebook. I have signed our class up for abcmouse. Every child has a login sheet. Follow the directions to get your child on to abcmouse. You can do this from his/her computer, tablet, touch phone or ipod. I have assigned each child assignments that he/she can complete at home or during his/her computer time.

Dear Families,
As you are aware Hurricane Harvey has left the south Texas area under water ,devastated and with many hundreds homeless and in need. As a school family we decided to do something as a school family. This Friday we will have a Hat Day fund-raiser at Pitner to collect money to donate to the Hurricane relief effort. Instead of collecting items on a Hat day , students will pay $1 to wear their hat all day. Since this is a fundraiser for disaster relief, you may donate more.

Spirit Day is this Friday! Your child can wear his/her favorite college clothes.

It has been a great few weeks! I have really enjoyed getting to know your kiddos.

Yesterday, I sent home a flyer about ordering a class shirt and word books for writing. Money is due by September 1st.

Please check your child's notebook and remove any work from 3rd quarter work.

Don't forget to send in field trip form and donation. We are really excited to go to Chattahoochee Nature Center.
